Marketing & Publicity for Dance Basic skills to help market your dance project, performance, workshop or business Wednesday August 25th 10am – 12noon $10 DANZ members, $15 non members DANZ office, top floor, 147 Great North Rd, Grey Lynn, Auckland Michelle Lafferty, Director of Elephant Publicity, Dance and Theatre Publicists, will run a short workshop on the basics of marketing and publicity, with a focus on the promotion of dance. § Identifying your audience, what are you selling? § Challenges for Dance. § Marketing & promotional tools. § Developing a promotional strategy. § Branding. § Media, advertising and direct marketing. § What works & what doesn’t, making the most of your dollar. § Tips for securing sponsorship.
