Pacific Dance Classes for Adults/Teens

Pacific Island Dance (Adults/Teens)
Participants will learn basic slow hip and leg movements then slowly progress to a quicker beat to create an amazing jaw-dropping performance. Tutor: Charlene Tedrow.

Samoan Dance (Adults/Teens)
Two forms of Samoan dance will be covered: 1) Samoan Siva - this is a dance which is performed, usually standing, and enacts everyday activities with graceful wrists, hand movements and beautiful smiley faces. 2) Sasa - a seated dance mainly using body percussion to the beat of the drummer. This dance is upbeat and fun as you can get creative with actions and the rhythm of the beat. Tutor: Charlene Tedrow.
