Pacific Dance NZ and Le Moana Planning Day

Pacific Dance NZ and Le Moana Planning Day

Le Moana & PDNZ Planning

The Pacific Dance NZ Team enjoyed a day out in Porirua with the Le Moana Dance Team who are planning their 2021 festival.

Our community engagement programs extend beyond schools and communities with practical dance classes and workshops.  The PDNZ team has a diverse range of skills and our director provides mentoring, leadership and advice to our community and dance Whānau.

Le Moana is an internationally acclaimed dance company based in Wellington founded and directed by dancer and choreographer Tupe Lualua.  They produce the Measina Festival  that is committed to the growth of Contemporary Pacific Arts in Aotearoa.

It was fun to work with Tupe Lualua’s young and vibrant team and go through different aspects of bringing a festival to life.  Strategic and operational planning is  crucial for a business and the same principles are applied to the arts and entertainment.   Pacific Dance NZ will continue the relationship with the team throughout the year.  Being a sounding board for the Le Moana Dance team in whatever they need guidance on will provide them assurance of unbiased support.

We want to encourage and inspire this small arts organisation to grow and deliver on their mission.
